What is flyposting?

They're predominantly A4 paper advertisements often pasted illegally on to buildings bus, shelters, lampposts, anywhere people might see it. Typically it's a band playing in a local pub or some group trying to get their message across. More often than not they literally don't have the money to mount an "ad campaign".

Personally I much prefer to see a fly poster than any multimillion dollar advertisement which are mostly "specifically" designed to control the way I feel about their product or service.

Unfortunately the vast majority of information we receive as a society has money or control at its core, and I'm more than a little uncomfortable with that. Flyposting is illegal in most places and if I owned a building and someone fly posted it I'd be pissed too. - so what can you do?

Here's how it works:

Anyone can upload an image in gif or jpeg format it will be resized to 200 pixels wide by 280 pixels high, weathered a bit and placed on the wall. You can link it to a website if you want and even add "alt text" which is displayed when the mouse cursor hovers over it.
